Cold water for Betis: Manuel Pellegrini does not want him and he must leave now

The Betis coach does not want him and he will not continue in the first team dynamic

Real Betis continues to prepare for the new season under the direction of Manuel Pellegrini, who is looking to improve performance after a previous campaign that left fans dissatisfied.

Pre-season has been a mixed bag in terms of results, with wins and losses in friendlies against top teams such as Liverpool and Manchester United. Despite the difficulties in the transfer market, the youth academy has shone, with players such as Marcos Fernández and Pablo García standing out.

Betis and this summer's signings

It has been a hectic transfer market for Betis, largely due to their failure to qualify for the Europa League last season. The departures of key figures such as Borja Iglesias, Guido Rodríguez and Juan Miranda have left gaps that the club is looking to fill.

The additions of players such as Romain Perraud and Ricardo Rodriguez aim to strengthen a defence that was in urgent need of reinforcements. However, the real surprise has come from the youth system, which has proven to be a prolific source of talent.

Emerging talents such as Nobel Mendy, Lucas Alcázar and Pablo García have made the most of the pre-season to show their worth. According to La Colina de Nervión, these young players have particularly stood out, with Mendy showing potential that positions him to have an important role in the first team rotation. Elyaz Zidane and Dani Rodríguez, also from Betis Deportivo, had a great year, even facing each other in the final of the U19 Euros, with Rodríguez playing a key role.

Betis names its most promising player

However, it has not all been positive. Pablo García, who started the pre-season with brilliant performances, has seen his playing time decrease. Despite having impressed with two goals in the first friendly, his progress has stagnated. In fact, Manuel Pellegrini has decided not to include him in the team's last training camp in Marbella.

This drop in his participation suggests that his chance in the first team could be slipping away. However, other youth players such as Juan Alcázar and Ismael Sierra are still fighting to earn a place.

Real Betis faces a summer full of changes and uncertainties, but also of hope, thanks to the emerging talent in its youth system. The team's ability to integrate these young players could be key to its success next season.
